The Seashell Drawing Times Two

After the Jellyfish Drawing, I decided to stay with the marine-life theme and draw a piece for a rattan frame I've had for years.  I finished the Seashell Drawing last week.  I liked the finished piece so much, I had a small run of prints made of it.   The top four photographs are of the original drawing framed, matted and behind glass in the rattan frame. The bottom three photographs are of the first print in a gold frame, matted and behind glass.  While the original is signed on the back, the print is signed on the front with the run number.

Seashell Drawing and Print: The overall size of the original drawing framed is 26"W x 31"H.  Pricing, shipping and additional information  for the original drawing is available at  https://www.etsy.com/listing/102152010/seashell-drawing?ref=v1_other_2.

The overall size of the framed print is 22"W x 26"H.  Pricing, shipping and additional information is available for the print at https://www.etsy.com/listing/102152401/seashell-print.

Lying Male Painting in the Back Hallway

I thought I would post some photos of a painting that I think illustrates what I was talking about in the previous post about drawings. Although done in acrylic on canvas, to me, the Lying Male Painting always feels more like a drawing than a painting. It was done rather quickly and has a loose sketch-like quality to it. It has always been one of my favorites.

The hallway that it hangs at the end of leads to the back of the House. As with everything else in the house, the cabinetry and woodwork were all designed, built and lit by Bobby with a little assist from Richard and me. The French Doors on the left lead out to the lanai and pool. The cabinets on the right are actually quite brilliant. The upper sections house cleaning supplies and some extra linens. The lower parts with the screen doors are cages for the four dogs. Although they may appear small in the photos, they are actually very deep, well ventilated and have plenty of room for the pups. Like I said, brilliant.
