Images of Mars from NASA and the University of Arizona

I came across these stunning images on-line of Mars from the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment being conducting by NASA and the University of Arizona.  I have always loved images of space and will be posting more.  For hundreds more Mars images, go to http://www.uahirise.org/

The four Mars images above are the Victoria Crater, the floor of Toro Crater, the North Polar Dunes and a fluvial fan on a crater floor. As I said, stunning!

The fifth image is of my first published drawing.  I grew up in Huntsville, AL where my father worked for IBM, which was involved in the first man on the moon space mission.  The local newspaper asked school kids to draw their vision of the first man on the moon.  My drawing is on the right-hand side.  I always loved the thought of space travel.
